Hi,
I'm looking to buy 11" laptop for SuSE Linux. Asus EEE PC comes into mind, as well as Acer Aspire and Lenovo models. Anyone have used any of these, or comparable?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I bought an Asus 1005P for my wife. First I installed Meego so she would get an intro to Linux. with Meego everything worked out of the box. Then I tried openSUSE 11.3 livecd everything worked out of the box. I then installed openSUSE 11.3 with the net.iso now the webcam is not working at all (I haven't really tried to fix it also as she does not need it). Some of the dialogs do not fit to the display (ie. acroread print dialog) and every time she wants to print something she calls the pc, OS and finally me some names :). I personally like the asus express gate loads fast and does the job. So keeping it on the hard disk would be my recommendation.
