I also have no source code. I only can guess which change caused the problem. 
The last changes were as follows:

2 months ago I've added sane-backends-devel but only for >11.3

4 months ago Lubos disabled kuickshow for >= 11.3 because it does not build 
with imlib2

12 months ago Beineri changed imlib to imlib2 for > 11.2 since imlib was 
removed from the distro (it did not help)

The last change that could affect 11.2 was by Dirk Mueller 12 months ago.

If you could remember the date when it broke, it would be useful.
