My wife belonged to a couple of forums where her posts were disallowedI'm not sure I'll ever be able to eat shitake mushrooms again.

disallowed. However, one gathered, from how some other posts were
written, that the words for she was temporarily "banned" were:
"Shitake mushrooms", "skyscraper", "cocktail", and "cackatiel" which
we owned. So she ended up writing "Shitake mushrooms" as "S*h*i*t*ake
mushrooms" and everything was OK; and so were the other words once she
"adjusted" the letters.
The Shiitake is actually called the Black Mushroom in China, but Shitake in Chinese groceries, and have been cultivated in China for thousands of years, and come as dried mushrooms which you hydrate before use. Lovely mushrooms with very health-wise credentials.
But you already know this, right? :-)
