I'm trying to play with the new flash 64bit beta from Adobe, but
Firefox
is not picking it up. I think(!) this is due to my disabling the
flash

find a config that says "flash disabled". how do I get flash
enabled
in firefox again? FF 3.6.10, Flashplayer Square from 27/9.
about:plugins or about:config, perhaps?
Yeah, I tried both of those - I can't find a setting that looks
right though.
Tools -> Addons -> Plugins?
Yep, been there too :-) It only lists the adobe and the null plugin.
Could be two different issues.
If you disabled it within Firefox it still must be visible in that
Plugins view. But first check if Firefox can actually find it.
To which location have you copied the library?
/usr/lib64/firefox/plugins - which is also where the PDF plugin lives,
and ff has no problems finding that one.
