Good morning listmembers,
Would like to know if are there any hacks to add a "reply to list"
button into Evolution Mail toolbar, since using the default CTRL+L IMHO
is not so user friendly.
There has been discussion on the Evolution list; now that Bonobo is gone
it is much easier to move the UI forward and such a menu-item/button is
likely to appear in a future version.
I have never found one. All my mail is first processed by procmail. This
way I sort things into various folders, independent of my mail reader. I
also have a rule that makes the Reply button reply to the list restrict
it to to only the message poster.
Fine, so let's wait for next Evolution release.
Really the feature request is very old, as I verified through mailing
lists, so Evolution Team so far appeared to be not very sensible to
users feedbacks.

FALSE (why the insistence on this list of tossing accusation and
criticism at developers?).

The Evolution UI was extremely difficult to change due to how Bonobo was
integrated into the application.

It had nothing at all to do with "sensibility to users feedback".

The situation sucked, and the developers said so. And the situation is
now fixed. Refactoring [replacing a significant component] in a complex
application is not a simple weekend project. Everyone on this list who
disses' developers for being 'unresponsive' should really give it a try
sometime.
So my sincere apologies to developers, I was completely ignoring the
background of the problem.

In any case I found comments dated March 2006 requesting the "Reply to
List button" feature to be added and this reveals a very slow timing for
a resolution...Whatsoever it be.
