ROTFL!
I had to tell Skype to use a different device.
Big Deal. I've had to do that with every new release of Skype, Linux
and ALSA.
Apart from that 11.3 has been wonderful.
And KDE4 is great :-)
But then I'm not using factory.
Just let me know when 4.5 is out :-)

You're on factory and you're complaining about crashes? Haha... ok...
ROTFL!
but I was always at a factory grade repo, from the days of 7.x on. I even
have crashes that lock up my comp in such a way that I can not ssh into it
to clean the mess up.
I had minor issues with the default kernel in 11.3... fixed up
updating the kernel... and with nViida (which has been corrected in
the std repos). Not a single significant issue since. 11.3 is rock
solid, stable and works very well on all systems I've installed it on.
