Neither are a good place. You should use ~/.xinitrc or
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc (after the "Add your own lines" comment).
I have e.g. 'xset -b b 0' and a 'nvclock' call there ;)

Hello,
On my 11.3 KDe system I use intel DG41 onboard graphics chipset. Problem
is, every time I boot my pc, the system gets back to 1024*768 resolution.
Is there any way to fix it on 1280*1024? I can't seem to find my xorg.conf
either. In /etc/X11/ there's a file named xorg.conf.d but not xorg.conf
Anybody with any solution?
