I like to use kate for systemmanagement file editing... i.e. I su to
root and then open kate thatconveniently saves sessions of multiple
files. In 11.3 I get this:loota:/data1/home> su
Password:loota:/data1/home # kate(4373): Session bus not found
loota:/data1/home # kate &
[1] 4373
Application 'kate' crashing...
KCrash:
sock_file=/root/.kde4/socket-loota/kdeinit4__0
Warning: connect() failed:: No such file or directory
KCrash cannot reach kdeinit, launchingdirectly.
drkonqi(4374): Session bus not foundkate
[1]+ Exit 253
loota:/data1/home #Both work for the main user though
And the same happens for kwrite.
(when started from the terminal). Whatshould I do? Currently I'm
editing the files in good ol emacs
