When trying to run the latest version of GoogleEarth (5.2.1.1329) I get the following error:
./googleearth-bin: ./libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by ./libgoogleearth_free.so) ./googleearth-bin: ./libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by ./libbase.so) ./googleearth-bin: ./libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by ./libsgutil.so) ./googleearth-bin: ./libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by ./libIGGfx.so)
Does anyone know where I can get the required version of glibc or do I need to revert back to an older version of GE?
You will need the right version of libstdc++ not glibc. If you search in yast for 'RPM "Provides"', it will find libstdc++44 and ( on a 64bit system ) libstdc++44-32bit packages for you. If libstdc++44 is allready installed, what tells "ldd googleearth-bin" about libstdc++ ? Does it point you to the libstdc++ from libstdc++44. Or is there another libstdc++ ? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
