I am fed up with it. Note for example of browser pluging which play video and do not prevent screen blanking. I wonder why I disabled all power saving features in Gnome and KDE and still the screen goes black after 10 minutes.
I think that if the application is not full screen it will not disable the screen saver. Again, report that as a bug in Bugzilla if you want it solved.
