After a routine software update a couple of weeks ago, sound decided to
stop working on my openSuSE 11.2 x86_64 machine. If I delete the sound
card configuration, and reconfigure it works fine, but after the next
reboot, I must repeast the process again.
sound card is
CK804 AC'97 Audio Controller
driver is
snd-intel8x0
Anyone else having a similar problem? And suggested quick fixes for this?
Thanks,
