No, it's been a week since the last time I printed something.

its probably hung ... :( kill it from the shell :/

If you are interested in the reason, it might help to have a look
at /var/log/cups/error_log if there are suspicious (error-)messages
therein regarding foomatic-rip or related to foomatic-rip.
