That's what I have too, so I'm apparently up to date. And you are suggesting NOT going to v4.4. I admit that the Factory repo scares me a bit. Presumably it would not be very long before v4.4 graduates to the default repos.
I'm suggesting not using extra repos unless you know what you do ;-) Factory is if you feel adventurous, want the newest, like to solve problems... I'd try the backports, then the stable. You see, those are not "official" updates. If you have a problem that you can not live with, and it is solved with one of those updates, then you need to update. But you might bump into other problems... or perhaps not. In any case, you will need to work at your machine...
