We were close :p

It turned out to be:

depmod -a --errsyms --filesyms /boot/System.map-2.6.32.13-1-default -n -v
2.6.32.13-1-default

Just remove the 'n' when you have confirmed it does what you need in
order to
actually write the files to the new module tree. '-n'='dry-run'.

Saved for future reference :-)
