Yes, I have seen something similar to this, very occasionally, but as I'm 
always "local", it is not that much of a problem, and I can't reproduce at 
will to study.

However, I learned time ago to not issue a halt or reboot from inside the 
session. I first log out, then halt. Otherwise, sometimes it crashes.
