My computer, suse 10.0 with KDE is having problems it overheats and quits when I restart and state kde i get a message box saying that rcpowerseverd is not running and should be so I run rcpowersaverd start and it tells me it is already running
Google that message in this list for the period 10.0 was active. I remember that message being common, but not the cause/solution - if there was a solution.
What can I do about this? Do you think it has naything to do with overheating?
Check cpu heatsink, grease, and fan. It is probably and old machine and needs maintenance. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
