I think you're referring to the KDE 4 file
dialog that we made Firefox use for 11.2 and
that Opera uses because of Qt's desktop
integration (I don't use Opera so I'm
guessing).

You can disable the KDE integration in
Firefox by uninstalling mozilla-
xulrunner191-kde4 as a workaround.

I've posted a fix for review.

Thanks for the helpful information, Will.

Will your fix allow the filename to be
changed while the file is being saved? Since the
filename field on the panel is an input text
field, and not a mere label, the user expects
changes to the name to be recognized.
