Correct, you do not have to register, only if you want online storage or
something similar. There are also mirrors to d/l from, check and choose.

Yast actually complains about almost all dependencies, they are all
java-packages (I think).
I could (try to) download and install from the JAlbum site but that's
another site I have to register with.
Any comments ?
You CAN bypass that step. (Hint: Skip this step)
