I would have thought it would be in java-1_6_0-openjdk-plugin. I wonder why both Sun and the openJDK versions are installed. Shouldn't it be enough to have one or the other?
You should remove the openjdk packages. The Java Plugin is provided by java-1_6_0-sun-plugin
I did that. And I even forced a re-install of java-1_6_0-sun. But still no plugin. How very odd. There is no link to the java plugin in /usr/lib/browser-plugins. Who/what makes that link? I do not have /usr/lib/firefox/plugins or /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, as I guess they are obsolete. -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Ramböll Sverige AB Krukmakargatan 21 P.O.
