I bet aria2c tries to do range requests so it can download from multiple
sources to improve efficency, and curl does not. In our case, I think
that is the significant difference. The question is if aria2c is doing
something wrong when ranges are not supported, or if the IronPort is not
doing them, but not reporting this properly. Don't know where to point
the finger...
Why not report the problem to both communities, even if you don't know
where to point the finger? Somebody else may have a related problem or
be in a better position to investigate the problem. Especially since you
have now confirmed that it is not your own finger trouble!
