Was this ever resolved?? Have just updated to KDE4.4 and have the same problem ie openSuse specific icons disappeared, as well as yast shortcuts, etc, Thanks, John.
I had a look through the kdebase4-workspace package ... looks like a lot of the openSUSE specific patches need rediff'ing against KDE4.4. I've done the work for the plasma-branding patch that introduced the yast shortcut and submitted it to KKFD so hopefully it will be fixed for 4.4.1.
It was never resolved for my main system which is on a rolling update on Factory. I still see the problem on all other updates I've done to KDE4.4.0 on my laptops etc. I gave up on chasing this after I received a bunch of *off-list* emails basically calling me an idiot who couldn't figure out how to install the openSUSE branding packages. :-( At this point, none of the systems I've got running (including a bunch I am supporting) KDE4.4.0 have any openSUSE branding after updating to 4.4.0. It would be nice to get the branding back. C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
