I have found that I'm now going through the KDE changelogs less
looking for what is new and helpful, and more for what is removed and
broken. One of my major apps, Kaddressbook, has had much of the
functionality that I depend on removed for KDE 4.4. I intend to spend
a few months on Gnome and help improve that desktop in much the same
way that I help KDE. If Gnome is now moving to a major new paradigm,
then it makes sense for me to be testing and using that.
