You should see a magnifying glass with a + inside at the base of a desktop.  Click it to "Zoom In".
On each desktop you can now right click, go to Desktop Settings, and pick a different wallpaper for each desktop.

Ummm...Dotan, in the first instance, who were you replying to above?
Please get your mail client configured correctly.
Where you getting the hieroglyphics from basil i only ever see them when you have replied to someone
Peter, to whom are you really replying and therefore to whom are you addressing your question? You seem to be replying to me, but asking (?) Dotan about "getting ...... from basil...". You are using (from your Header information): KMail/1.11.90 (Linux/2.6.30-rc6-git3-4-default; KDE/4.2.86; x86_64; ; ) but there is no mention of which Character Encoding you are using for your incoming/outgoing messages. So, the bottom line is: what "hieroglyphics" are you speaking of?

Wonderful! Glad to read this. (Getting the new ones didn't take long at all did it? How did you manage to get the new replacement specs so quickly - being the weekend (Saturday/Sunday in all corners of the world)?)
