Hi Dotan, I have another Opensuse 11.2 KDE4.4 issue for you to see if you can persuade KDE to fix. I closed the desktop folder transparency by accident and couldn't find a way to get it back. I was able to get the icons back on the desktop in the same format as the kde 3.5 desktops displayed them, but couldn't return it to the prior configuration. I had posted to the mail list to try and get an answer to this question, and received this reply:
"right click on your desktop. Press ad widgets. Find folder menu. Ad it and adjust when displayed on desktop."
When I tried to follow these instructions, I get a menubar full of icons in alphabetical order. The folder menu icon was not displayed. When I pressed the arrow on the right to scroll to it, the menubar instantaneously scrolled past all icons. When I tried to scroll back with the arrow on the left, the menu was unresponsive Unfortunately that (add widgets dialog scroll broken) was a bug in KDE4.4RC3 / Qt 4.6. It is fixed in the released version of KDE4.4. Upgrade (packages are now available) and it will work.
