Hello:
openSUSE 11.2 with firefox 3.5.6, opensuse package: The print resolution is set back to 300 dpi every time when I print something. It is very annoying to always check and set resolution when I print. How could I make firefox remember my setting?
Thanks, Istvan
Don't know if this will help as I don't have a printer to test it with. In firefox enter about:config in the url bar. In the "filter" space, enter "print". That will bring up a couple of pages of variables. Near the bottom of this list is the entry: *** print.tmp.printerfeatures.PostScript/default.supports_resolution_change *** The default is set to false. Double click on that line to bring up a dialog where you can change that to "true". Try that and let us know what happens. -- Thanks, Tom (retired penguin) openSUSE 11.2 x86_64, KDE 4.4RC2 Kmail 1.13.0, FF 3.6RC1 linxt-at-comcast.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
