I THINK the 127.0.0.1 line was locahost under 11.1. Looks like the UiP from 11.1 to 11.2 may have hosed it.
How do I tell which address to use for IPv4 localhost, 127.0.0.1 or 127.0.0.2? Then I can put the IPv4 localhost entry back. Looks like we're getting closer...
Actually, the bookmark from 11.1 is:
http://127.0.0.1:8222/ui/#
Thank you,

It is curious.

My 11.2 install has this in the /etc/hosts:

127.0.0.1 localhost

::1 localhost ipv6-localhost ipv6-loopback

127.0.0.2 linux-lm5l.site linux-lm5l

Just in case: you should at least have the entry "127...", the one you had to comment out is the "::1..."
Also, why is it trying port 8308 when 8222/8333 were specified in the coniguration?
How do you start the client? I assume you use firefox, browsing to http://localhost:8222?
Actually, the bookmark from 11.1 is:
http://127.0.0.1:8222/ui/#
However, I see in the config files that port 8308 is used for something else.
Thank you,
