Hi guys No matter what I do I can't get any sound from Banshee or Amarok. I have followed this page (found on openSUSE Wiki): http://www.justuber.com/blog/2007/02/09/mp3-on-opensuse-5-minute-fix/ Need to mention that I had to create folder /opt/gnome/lib/gstreamer-0.10 as it didn't exist. I've tried any possible sound combination in Amarok where in Sound output / Music I have: HDA Intel CONEXANT Analog PulseAudio In Enigne I have: Xine GStreamer But no matter how I try to any combination I don't get any sound when using Amarok. There's no problem if I fire up for VLC and put on a MP3 or a video file. What have I missed? I'm on openSuse 11.2 using Packman and have done all updates.
