Hi everybody, on Opensuse 11.1 64-bit on AMD athlon 4050 CPU (two x64 cores) I could't untar my tar-ed archives. Archives was tared on the same machine. I've tried to reinstall tar with SW management. Didn't helped. Thanks J.K.
Can you post the error. Could they have become corrupt? Tar is a reasonably old format and hasn't changed much over the years. What does 'file you_tar_file.tar' return?
