Subject: [nylug-talk] OpenSuse 11.2 MAQUARAINDING and port forwarding
User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.20 (2009-06-14)
Hello
I'm having a miserable time upgrading to opensuse 11.2
Anyone know why the masquarading doesn't work or how I can fix it?
/usr/sbin/iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth1 -j MASQUERADE
This seems to have no impact on optables
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
and the firewall is off. I don't even see the little port forwarding
file any more in /proc
