Why has functionality been removed, who is responsible, and to whom do we have to talk in order to bring it back again?
This has been said many times here.. Dolphin is not equal to the old KDE3 file manager, it is a new file manager. The old KDE3 filemanager was not copied into KDE4, it was rewritten. Functionality was not removed, it has not been written yet. If you restart on something.. no matter what it is, you cannot expect that 100% of everything that was in the old tool it replaces will be automatically present in the new tool.
That's all very well and understandable when it comes to Dolphin. But what about Konqueror? It was there before and it isn't now. It was removed when Konq was "converted" for KDE4. The same reasoning does not apply. It was removed. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
