My log is filling up with Martian Source message. Dec 7 13:14:28 poulsbo kernel: [ 1318.735298] martian source 192.168.2.255 from 192.168.2.1, on dev wlan0 Dec 7 13:14:28 poulsbo kernel: [ 1318.735322] ll header: ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:00:10:18:19:b9:5b:08:00 My wireless router is serving as an access point, on the same subnet as my wired connection. I'm actually wired on eth0, but unless I remember to click on the Knetworkmanager tray applet and UNCHECK Enable wireless wlan0 starts posting martian messages, and then tries to associate with with the wireless router. Is there a setting I can make to cause WiFi not to be enabled when the Wired interface is up? Is there a setting to disable these martian source messages? And why am I getting them? -- A computer without Microsoft is like a chocolate cake without mustard. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
