I need the steps John, so sorry to bother you again and again, I am quit unfamiliar with opensuse, I can't find kde, I did Yast.. password, .online update,,, reply"no active update source is available.
Lets start at the beginning then.... When you log in, what do you see? Does it look something like this: http://kde.org/announcements/4.3/images/kde430-desktop_thumb.jpg If so you are already in KDE, and can launch dolphin in many ways but the most reliable is press alt-f2 and type Dolphin in the pop-up. Or Does It look something like this: http://static.opensuse.org/hosts/www.o.o/images/screenshots/zoom/2.jpg In which case you have Gnome installed, and KDE may or may not be installed at all. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
