I need advise how to make Home and End button to be active at command
prompt (BASH ?)
If I am in vi editor, the buttons can be use. Cursor move to the beginning
of line if I press Home button and I press End button cursor move to the
end of line. However, it does not work when I am at command prompt.
How / where can I change the setting? Is it in the /etc/profile?
Thanks a lot for your kind help.
Wong
It works fine with default keyboard layout.
Hmm... it is strange.
I have tested for 3-4 times on different box, got same result. It is OpenSuSE 11.1.
