IBM offers both Redhat and SUSE on Power and Z.
How true! (I have an old 3090 running VM here)
And what will be left, once SUSE dismisses its non Intel/AMD support?
The change is only for openSUSE.

SLES has of course different requirements and priorities,
and so far all architectures (i586,x86_64,ppc64,s390x,ia64)
are supported and will continue to be supported.

Ciao, Marcus
It's nice to know it'll still be available next time I buy a supercomputer. ;-)

Incidentally, many years ago, I used to support VAX 11/780 systems (I was using VAX/VMS before I even saw PC/MS-DOS) and in it's day it was considered a fairly powerful computer. However, it's CPU was about as powerful as an Intel 386! It's been over 20 years since I last worked on one of those systems.
