[opensuse] KDE 4.3: no OpenGL, only XRender possible?

Hi,
My (not so) old PC (P4, 2.4 GHz, 1.5G Ram) has an Nvidia Gforce4 TI 4200 with
AGP8X.
KDE 4.3 on opensuse 11.2, kernel default, (clean, fresh install) doesn't show
any of those new effects. I tried to enable them, but KDE says it can't. But
when I change from OpenGL to XRender it can - only, it is very, very, veeery
slow...
Any hints how I can enable OpenGL to make the effects faster?
If any info is needed, I'll provide it.
have a nice day!
Daniel
