But me thinks Lynn question is specifically directed at openSUSE and not
broadly at all the other available distros.

(BUT, didn't SuSE some years ago have a "live" DVD available? One which
I *think* I remember buying with a Linux-related magazine. Or am I
simply dreaming? (more than likely :-) ))
