Your HPLIP installation is broken.
This is not a clean HPLIP installation with our
official packages because our official packages
"hplip" and "hplip-hpijs" (and nothing else)
provide the right /etc/hp/hplip.conf which matches to
our provided /usr/share/hplip/data/models/models.dat
You have something mixed up somehow.
E.g. our HPLIP packages mixed up with HPLIP packages from
Packman which are known to be broken, see
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=515005
Ok......that very well could be....since I and most everyone else does
use Packman, for obvious reasons. I'll check this tomorrow, and see
where the files I have installed came from.
Thanks!
