Hello list I have been using SuSE since 6.4 my last version was 10.2 I downloaded the 10.2 iso image, which was flawless, but took 15 hours. I burned it and it installed nicely and I was very impressed, but my first problem arose when I tried the printing system. My printer is a HP 870 Cxi, it is a parallel printer, it worked fine with 10.2 In 11.2 yast recognizes it well, finds a driver, install the printing queue, but the test page only gives an endless junk. And I cannot print any file with another result. It does not work with cups either. Did any of you face a similar problem and what can be done to it ?
I am still using 10.2 because of my second problem.
