Hello, it's me again
My new Opensuse 11.2 connected to the internet automatically, I had never yet
seen that since SuSE 6.4, The mail was very easily received, but
unfortunately I cannot configure the outgoing mail properly. I use SMTP,
but I always get the same error message
5.7.0 Error : authentication failed.
It is the same with Kmail, my usual mailer, But I get a similar result with
Thunderbird. Both work fine on reception, using POP.
That is why I must reboot to 10.2 every time I have to send a message, which
is not very convenient.
I suppose there must be a configuration file which Yast could not write
properly, but I do not know which one it can be. Could any of you shed a bit
of light on this question, please ?
