Thanks, already been there before asking. Unless I'm missing
something, I
can only find the freenx-client while searching under the 'openSUSE
11.2'
setting...

freenx *is* nx :^)

I know, I'm looking for the SERVER package, not the CLIENT package...

I find 'FreeNX-0.7.*.rpm' under the 'openSUSE Factory' search setting
- will
this work on 11.2? Guess I'll try it anyway.

last what i heards from the free-nx stuff, was that it is serilously
broken.

Can you elaborate on this, what is "seriously broken", I use it all day
and every day.

Hello listmates,

I have recently installed NX server, after switching to openSUSE 11.1.
However, I can't seem to log in. It used to work beautifully on openSUSE
10.3.

What I did is the following:
- First of all, to install the NX server, I added the following repository:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/RemoteDesktop/openSUSE_11.1/
From that
This resulted in the following packages being installed:
- FreeNX
- NX
- freenx-client
<snip>

Joop,

freenx-client is broken and has been since July 1, 2008 (look at
bugzilla)
Download another nx-client and it should work. Also, make sure you get the
certificates in the right place...
