Is it possible to have different images on each desktop in KDE 4.
good, thanks, but how?
The containment type {Desktop, Plain Desktop, or Folder View} and the background {Wallpaper, positioning, color, effect, etc.} are associated the the current "Activity". You can map "Activities" to "Desktops" by clicking the first checkbox in the "Configure Plasma" dialog. Sometimes I can get there by clicking the "cashew" and choosing "Configure Plasma..." from the menu. Right now however, that option doesn't appear on the menu. It will come back later, I guess; it has already disappeared and reappeared twice today. Also, while I was trying this out (it is not how I normally configure things), plasma didn't crash, but it did start acting odd. The cashew would disappear sometimes, and the wrong wallpaper would occasionally be used. It's possible this feature still isn't 100% in KDE 4.2.4.
