Sure Michael, sure appreciate your taking the time to help me with
this! What follows is my smb.conf file.. This is set up for my SOHO
network at home...

workgroup = CHAMBERLIN
interfaces = eth1

why eth1 and not eth0? Do you have 2 NIC's? Try commenting that line
out and restarting smb.
