RE: [opensuse] ipconfrig--where?

Running the ifconfig command with no parameters shows a lot of info about
the various interfaces. I don't see something similar with ip.

This, for me, provides more immediate usable info...

To get info similar to ipconfig from 'ip' you need to issue two commands;

ip -s -s link
ip addr

Granted, the feature set of 'ip' may be more robust than ifconfig, but it
is not as efficient.
