My advice is to forget about procmail. You don't need it.
Perhaps not for dealing with spam. But I use procmail to sort incoming mail into various Maildir/IMAP folders. Is there a better (not simply different) way?
Probably not better, but at least different :-) - I use my email agent to do that. (Thunderbird).
I read my mail from different locations. I got very tired of having to set up each e-mail reader. Also, IMAP makes it easier for me to switch e-mail clients locally when I want to see the state of the various programs. -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Ramböll Sverige AB Krukmakargatan 21 P.O.
