I like the green, green is the color of SuSE. I don't see any reason the change - it has to be some color, and the user can easily change the color to whatever they want.
Green is certainly better than turd-brown.

While I've to agree with the ancient wisedom, I have to admit I feel the same about the green / brown matter, but that's certainly OT.
However as long as I can remember (:p) the green chamaleon has been the mascot of openSUSE, thus I meanwhile associate openSUSE with a green color I think I'd be nice to somehow keep the green (even if it's just in the logo). [Although I also use Studio with a blue themed screen]
