But, for heaven's sake, why should he comment on something to do withThe KDE4 device notifier seems to be a good tool to handleIstvan, please comment on this bug:
(mount/unmount/open) removable media.
However I would like an icon to be placed on the desktop when a removable
medium is attached. Is this possible in KDE4?
Then I would not forget occasionallly to unmount the device before I
unplug it.

This is not an Ubuntu-specific issue, it affects Suse and all
KDE4-based distros.
And in any case, the icon already exists in the taskbar!
