There is an "eject" button beside the icon text on the Devices Notifier popup/wizzzard that will eject the cd/dvd tray effectively un-mounting the item. This action also appears for a usb stick and for camera flash disks, but *only* after the device has been mounted by choosing one of the options presented or mounting it manually (this action still exists).
you might want to pull *that* bug :^).
I do not understand where you see a bug here. There is no sense in providing an unmount option for unmounted media.
<quote> Where *I* see a bug. Your comment you conviently trimmed: That is the Devices Notifier widget, and it should close. At least it closes here on my KDE 4.3 system. However, I do not see an easy way to get to the mounted media in Konqueror, so I filed this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205222 Furthermore, you are right, there is no way to unmount, so I filed this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205223 Please comment and vote on them! </quote> I'm *trying* to tell you that *your* bug is invalid. But you are correct, there is *no* need of an unmount button/option for an unmounted object. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
