- before I could unmount USB-Sticks... in konqueror, Now I have this icon in the "kicker" that opens and never closes when I connect a new media. It should close one moment even if I don't click on it. And also the operations to be executed should be just right there maybe accessible with a right click, and not in a new window.
That is the Devices Notifier widget, and it should close. At least it closes here on my KDE 4.3 system. However, I do not see an easy way to get to the mounted media in Konqueror, so I filed this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205222
Furthermore, you are right, there is no way to unmount, so I filed this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205223

There is an "eject" button beside the icon text on the Devices Notifier popup/wizzzard that will eject the cd/dvd tray effectively un-mounting the item. This action also appears for a usb stick and for camera flash disks, but *only* after the device has been mounted by choosing one of the options presented or mounting it manually (this action still exists). you might want to pull *that* bug :^). -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
