It looks like good, but you can try reinstall it. just run grub and type: setup --stage2=/boot/grub/stage2 --force-lba (hd0,1) (hd0,1) quit
This install to sda2 grub stage 2 which points to sda2. And if it still doesn't work, you can try move grub to MBR: setup --stage2=/boot/grub/stage2 --force-lba (hd0) (hd0,1) quit
The first solution sets the boot correct. I have learned much from this problem,I had a lot of fun. (after its solved) Thanks Josef
Good :) So problem is that your grub loader at sda2 points to load menu.lst from sda3. Booting x86 machine is not easy to understand and often cause surprise for many users. -- Josef Reidinger YaST team maintainer of perl-Bootloader, YaST2-Repair, webyast modules language and time -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
