How about actually sketching out what this really means, if indeed it means anything at all, to re-assure the GNOME guys that this is not the very unsubtle end of a big wedge to squeeze them out, and make their (already un-necessarily unpleasant) experience of openSUSE advocacy worse.
If you read the original discussion you would know that the KDE community were explicitly asked for, and more than once gave our assurances that there is no campaign to evict GNOME from openSUSE. Please accept that this is about making openSUSE stronger by playing to its strengths, not a scheme to pick on our GNOMEs. And please don't try to heighten the drama by suggesting that our GNOMEs were being given a rough ride prior to #306967 - both desktop projects and every other subgroup within openSUSE get the same breaks for promoting their work.
